Orwell's 1984 in 2010

I keep seeing "hate speech" and "hate crime" every time I look at the news. ABC,CBS,NBC,CNN,MSNBC, The New York Times and The Washington Post have all been lap dogs of the Obama administration from the beginning. Leftist programs rammed down our throats whether we want them or not. All bitter pills to swallow for those of us who love this country and believe in the Constitution. While the U.S. is far from being England, it is on it's way.

It seems that anytime some minority group is harmed or god forbid "offended", someone out there claims it is a hate crime or hate speech. First and foremost,  hate is not illegal. Under the Constitution of the United States of America you have the unalienable right to think or say anything you damn well please. We now live in a time where we must bow down to the "minders of political correctness" and the "thought police". Anyone not toeing the Liberal Democrat party line is instantly branded a racist.  Hate is a powerful thing, but it is just a feeling, it can't harm  anything unless you act on it. I am filled with hate. I hate many things and many people. I am not a bad person for this, in fact most people who know me would say I'm a pretty good guy.

The idea that laws can be passed that take your thoughts and feelings into account is quite frightening. If the Socialist Democratic Party really wants automotons then they should've mandated frontal lobotomies for all when they passed Obamacare.
